Some have seen the new gutenberg editor. As an agency that has focused mainly on backend customizations (with custom types, fields, taxonomies) and quite complex company websites, gutenberg means mainly one thing for existing sites: a hell lot of work. At least if things are going to be “as incompatible” to everything we’ve done with tinymce as we think.In this talk, I will explain how we technically analyzed the “risk” behind the new editor/post-screen and how we try to keep about a hundred (highly) customized websites compatible.
